Time to Why

What he says

Jamie BurkeWhy the Intention Economy might finally be near. He predicts what I predicted (in the book above), with a DLT (distributed ledger technology) spin. Note that credit for the original portrait used in the piece should go to Peter Adams and his Faces of Open Source project.

What I said

My Big Talk interview about MyTerms, The Intention Economy, and much else, is up at WFHB.

High Minded

Complain about his politics all you like (I have problems too), but dig the weird fact that FCC Chair Brendan Carr likes to climb towers, as did my father (who helped build the George Washington Bridge). As did I too, back in the decade. Here are my shots from the catwalk 750 feet up the Mt. Sutro tower. (To be fair, or unfair, II took an elevator up.) Examples of Carr’s conquests are are WKRG-TV (1865 feet tall), KDLT-TV (2000 feet), a Murphy cell tower (300 feet), and a Nexstar tower (200 feet). Here’s a video of the 2000-foot one.

Staying up

Calvin Tomkins on being 100.
