A definition of good men

I won’t go into details, because it’s a private matter for the people involved. But the story is about a good woman and her loving husband and sons, all good men in the full meaning of that term.

A few minutes ago I was thinking in the shower about what “good men” actually meant. This is the answer that came to me: They’ve got your back, and they’ve got your heart.

Wanted to share that while it’s still fresh.

    The perfect blog post.
Of course you had to write a lot of other posts to create the audience for this post.
    Thank you!

    Thanks, Dick.

Funny, I’ve been writing this blog since 1999, and I’ve never paid much, if any, attention to how many readers I had.

I have over 17,000 followers on Twitter, and I don’t care much about that either. I’m sure all but a few thousand of them at most aren’t people. But I don’t know. Tweeting to me feels a bit like pissing in the ocean lately.

I know readers are there, and I’m glad I have them. But anyway, going for reader numbers has never been a game I wanted to play.
